Terms, Payment & Cancellation Policy

Rates and Taxes

All quoted rates are net and include government taxes totaling 23%. If any government taxes, including VAT or levies, are revised, the quoted rates will be adjusted accordingly.

Payment Policy

A 25% advance payment is required upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance must be settled either two (2) weeks before arrival or in cash upon arrival. Alternatively, you may choose to make full payment upon confirmation.

Payment Methods

Amendments and Cancellations

Cancellations or amendments must be requested in writing via info@ayulankatours.lk. All cancellations are subject to administrative and bank charges.

Special Requests

Requests for specific room types, locations, or features (e.g., adjoining rooms, smoking preferences) can be made at booking time. We will forward your request to the hotel, but confirmation is subject to availability.

Unforeseen Price Adjustments

In case of government tax revisions, fuel surcharges, or changes in entrance fees, the client agrees to pay any additional costs that arise. We will provide reasonable notice whenever possible.

Hotel Check-in/Check-out

Prohibition of Alcohol

Alcoholic beverages will not be served in public areas of hotels or restaurants during religious holidays (Poya Days) in Sri Lanka. This is a national regulation and applies to all guests.

Dress Code at Religious Sites

Visitors must wear modest clothing covering shoulders and knees when visiting religious or cultural sites. Hats, caps, and shoes must be removed before entering temples or sacred areas. Facilities for footwear storage are usually available at entrances.

Force Majeure

Ayulanka Tours shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or government restrictions.

Governing Law

These Terms and Policies are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
